Moving through the world while Black at times is complicated. At an early age you're taught to code switch. Not to do this or say that. Never challenge authority. Do everything with a smile, and above all else, try to blend in. It's an art form really, and quite exhausting.
While Black Project is a collective of activated anti-racist creatives focused on illuminating the stories that we, as Black Americans, painfully share.
